Shipping and Handling Rates
We offer FREE SHIPPING within the United States and Canada. We do however charge shipping for foreign purchases to ensure safe delivery of your products. All purchases outside the United States and Canada will start at twenty five dollars for standard delivery. Express mail will start at twenty five dollars and fifty dollars for overseas purchases.
Items being shipped overseas will always require a shipping fee so expect a follow up communication before your product is shipped if you do not select Overseas shipping during the checkout process. If your order must be shipped in multiple boxes, or in separate shipments in the event an item is not in stock and must ship at a later date, shipping and handling charges that may apply for the entire order will be assessed at the point when the first item is shipped. We charge only ONCE for shipping and handling, for the entire order.
Shipping Methods
Bear's Leather uses the US Postal Service's Priority Mail (2-3 Day service), as the primary carrier and shipping method for most items. Should you require faster service, US Express Mail is available with an additional shipping fee. All large items (over 25lbs) are shipped via USPS Ground with additional fees for Express shipping.
Processing Time
Your order is thoroughly reviewed by our Credit Card Department to ensure that the order is accurate, the payment method is valid, and you are authorized to use this payment method. Once we have verified payment, your order, it is processed, any custom orders are queued up to be made for you. Please note, credit card processing can take up to 3 business days, but we are currently only accepting PayPal as a method of payment until our Merchant Services are updated. You may use your own PayPal account or a credit card through PayPal's payment processor. You will be able to use any major credit card through our Pay Pal processor so do not feel you cannot make and order if you do not have a Pay Pal account.
If the item(s) on your order are in-stock, we will ship them as soon as possible from our Fort Collins, Colorado location. Please keep in mind that many of our items, (and all of our custom leather items), are hand crafted and often take some time to produce form the time the order is placed. Although we do our best to get your order made and shipped right away, please allow 2 - 3 weeks for processing. If the item(s) on your order are out of stock, the entire order will not be shipped until we have received and processed the backordered inventory unless other arrangements are made with our office.

Total Time for Delivery
Total time is based on the amount of time it takes to get payment authorization, order processing, and the transit time from the carrier. This can range from 24 hours to 10 days for in-stock items or as long as 4 weeks for larger custom orders. Please be patient, we do our best to get your order to you as fast as possible. If the item is a gift for a special day, please plan ahead. |
